Lower average. Meat in game goulash is sometimes very poorly through and gristly. Dumplings rather mushy. Red cabbage good but hardly flavored. The food looks more like thawed and warmed up. The green lettuce had brown spots on the cut edge, i.e. has been lying for a long time or preparing yesterday That's not possible! The sauce was some sort of ready made dressing. The service was quick. The food is not worth it. Better go somewhere else!

Price-performance ratio. The food was good. As the dish on the menu was not served due to the lack of fried eggs I didn't have to pay for my espresso, nice gesture.

We were looking for a restaurant where you can eat typically German in the evenings. The Augustiner Bräu was around the corner. We skilfully ignored the ratings up front, ... unfortunately. After 5 minutes we were allowed to order. I ordered a hunter schnitzel and my companion a breaded schnitzel. The starter salad that comes with the dishes is the worst salad I've had to eat in my life. In my opinion, that was a pre-cut salad that was packed and emptied with natural yoghurt. I was very close to returning it, but unfortunately I didn't. The food was "ok" but far too little. In my eyes, a clear tourist trap.

Schnitzel was average, roast pork was juicy and flavourful, Klöße were perfect. Simple satisfying filling food.

We were there on September 1st, 2020 (bus trip to Eisenach) and the food was very tasty! ???? Also the service was just great (especially the very nice waiter ??) Thank you for EVERYTHING, we will definitely come again! Bye for now

In 11 months of Germany, I had the best service here. Was a really nice surprise to have my beer served quick and cold.

Quite comfortably furnished. Beer garden also pleasant. Beer as always top. Unfortunately, the food was poor. You couldn't help but get the impression that someone here is only heating pre-made goods. Salad more like loveless.

Actually great locality, delicious food and when the landlord is there it's going. But the two transous waitresses are more concerned with themselves than with the guests (14.8.20). That can take a little longer ...

I don't know where such good reviews come from, but as an Eisenacher I can only say the food has deteriorated so much and tastes like frozen products. Even the salad didn't taste like anything. The service was anything but appealing. I won't be entering this place anytime soon. A shame for Eisenach!

Eating okay, but not more, okay for a quick meal. Fries for the schnitzel manageable. Waiters average friendly, clearly expandable. Older waitress friendly. Beer garden nicely protected.

The food was really good. We had the Hamburg schnitzel and the venison goulash. The service was very nice and the service was also very good and in a reasonable time.

The Augustiner beer is of course beyond any doubt. I had the venison goulash with Thuringian dumplings. The dumplings were great, but I found the meat tough and I had imagined the sauce to be different. But the beer garden and the friendly service can score points.

Real german, oldschool restaurant!

Friendly and quick service, but there wasn't much going on either. I can't judge how it is with a full restaurant operation. The food was very tasty. We really wanted to eat the Thuringian dumplings and they were homemade. The portions were large enough, we had beef roulade and goulash. The freshly tapped Pils also tasted good. You can highly recommend it when you are very hungry and thirsty.

Listless service, in the best summer weather the beer garden was "not open today" from the program - we suspect that the staff did not want to go up the stairs. The food was served quickly and in large portions. Schnitzel with mushroom sauce and French fries: Schnitzel was floating in the fat, sauce was soggy without any taste statement with canned mushrooms. Price level fair, if the taste would have been right ...

Never had schweinshaxe before - it was really tasty. The only mistake we made was having it at lunchtime! Would definitely go back again.
